Minneriya National Park

Most famous for the spectacular ‘Gathering’ of elephants during the dry season, Minneriya is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts. This annual congregation of hundreds of elephants around the Minneriya Tank is one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Asia. The park also shelters monkeys, deer, and endemic birds.
